Hi,

I've been lurking on this list for about 6 months, now, enjoying the
recipes and substitutions for various ingredients.  I joined the list not
because I have CD but because I have "leaky gut". A wheat allergy is one
of the several food I'm allergic or sensitive too. It's seems wheat is in
everything these days.

I was checking out restaurant chains to find out the actual ingredients in
some of their items and found a page for Wendy's that list items
containing gluten, products containing either white or distilled vinegar,
good alternative choices, and answers to some common questions.

For example, they say:

Cheese sauce - The hydrolyzed vegetable protein in the cheese sauce is
derived from corn and soybean.

Chili - The "natural flavoring" in the chili beans is soluble spices
including: white pepper, clove, allspice & cinnamon.
