I received a good deal of info regarding my question
about GF food in Florida, far to much to place on this
site. This is just a summary.:

All Disney World sit down restaurant are prepared at
all times to serve a GF meal. Just ask to speak to the
chef. They are wonderful. If you're staying at any
Disney Resort, call in advance and they will
accommodate your needs. Chief Chris can be reached at
714-781-6569. He will call back within 24 hours and is
extemely helpful.

Generally all hot dogs are 100% beef and gluten free
Burgers are 100% beef, just ask for no bun
Also frozen banana and popcorn

When you are in the parks, the fast food counters keep
a book that shows pictures of each food item and lists
the ingredient

Call ahead & make reservations in their restaurants (I
think the # is 407-WDW-DINE). You can speak to the
chefs ahead of time (they are very aware of celiac
disease) & then when you show up the chef comes to
your table & makes suggestions & reviews your needs.

In Sarasota, there is an Italian restaurant called
Marie's on Beneva that makes chicken or veal or sword
fish piccata without using flour that is just
wonderful. Wonderful restaurant with a great early
bird special (before 6). Homey atmosphere.

Inexpensive. On Siesta Key, a great restaurant is
Miguel's (french cuisine). It is pricier, and worth
every dollar

A bit south of Boca, in Pompano Beach is Cafe Arugula
at 3110 N. Federal Highway, 954-585-7732. The chef's
sister has CD. They are marvelous. In Boca, a
Vietnamese place called LaTre at 249 E. Palmettto,
561-392-4568..
