Hi listies,

I was overwhelmed by the response to my post regarding leg aches. I
thought I was alone with my leg aches but most of you described the same
thing that I experience. You all recommended a bone density test which
I did just have done. I do have osteopenia which is the stage before
osteoporosis. I am now taking calcium.

After I was diagnosed through a biopsy I was just sent out to learn
about celiac disease on my own. The only symptom I ever had was anemia.
At this time the only symptoms I still have that I am aware of are the
anemia, mouth sores and now I know, the leg aches.

I have been on my gluten free diet again now for about a month and would
you believe I have fallen asleep the past two nights without my legs
hurting! OK, you told me so :-) I have not come across a support group
of any type in Bakersfield, California so I am grateful to all the
responses I received, even the ones chewing me out for not staying on
the diet.

God Bless,
Betty Davis
Yes, I love my name ;-)
