Hi everyone

This is a question for people with Dermatitis Herpetiformis. I have read
that people with DH cannot take iodine/potassium iodide tablets. The
preventative treatment to stop you absorbing radiation in the event of a
leak (terrorism to a nuclear plant, accident etc) is Potassium Iodide
tablets. I have read that these are not suitable for people with Dermatitis
Herpetiformis, does anyone know whether there is an alternative treatment?
I would like to find out in advance of such an emergency if there is any
treatment recommended for us DH sufferers.

Thanks

Kristina
