Hello Listers:

I've just recently been diagnosed with CD and also had my 4 year old son
tested as well. His blood work for food allergies were negative, and all
antibodies from the celiac panel were negative except for a positive for IgG
antigliadin. It's my understanding that IgG antigliadin has a high false
positive rate. His biopsies were also normal. Good. However, what should I
make of this? He is recommending that we omit dairy products from his diet
for awhile. His growth to date is fine-average high and weight. Im just
concerned because when he has these bouts of diarrhea it hits him fast and
hard. I want to prevent any embarassement that he may have.

Any input as to what I should be asking or what the next logical step would
be, please let me know. It took many, many years and months to finally have
a Dr. to agree to test me.
