Dear List,

I am going to INdia for about four months and must get immunizations for
such things as Hepatitis and so forth. I must also take malaria
prevention pills for the entire period I am there--there are also
antibotic preventions but I am wary of antibiotics from having taken way
too many in general in the past. In addition, it is reommended I get a
flu shot so I dno't get sick before I go in mid-March (so I will be gone
until July).

I am concerned about the entire Celiac immune response to these
medications/vaccinations etc. and would like to know people's expereinces,
particularly in regard to the malaria pills which I understand can have
strong side effects (and since I will take them for such an extended
period my anxiety is high). ANy recommendations or pro/con arguments
appreciated.

Also, I wonder if anyone can give me a recommendation for a gluten free
misquito repellant--cream is probably better than a spray. Although I am
not DH I will be sweating a lot due to intense Indian summer heat and
worry about getting the stuff in my mouth (and I really do not like taking
any risks).

THanks so much I'll do a summary.
