As a Dairy Queen owner and celiac I can assure you that Dairy Queen
softserve, both chocolate and vanilla, are gluten-free. Please check the
ingredients in toppings though as the hot fudge is not gluten-free and the
chocolate toppings for shakes and sundaes may or may not be gluten-free
depending on which of the two suppliers each DQ receives toppings from. In
my DQs, we do not break up our own candy toppings....they come that way from
the candy manufacturer. I usually stick to fruit toppings, myself. Also be
careful that when ordering a Blizzard they clean the spindle first to make
sure no Oreo cookies were left on it.
