I have never been able to take any "sulfa" drugs or any myacins (?).
As a child I spent years on pennicillan trying to get rid of never
ending ear, strep, respiratory and sinus infections.  I only have the
occasional sinus infection now, but antibiotics work much better and
faster although my dr does give me a few extra days to be sure.

I've noticed many mentions of ear infections, but not itching in the
ear, anyone notice that, especially if I may have had a minute gluten
exposure.
