Hi All,

I am looking for personal recommendations for restaurants in the East Bronx and Southern Westchester, New York.  I will traveling there in August to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday.  I need a place for us all to go for her birthday dinner as well as moderately priced places that my kids (ages 8-17) would enjoy for other meals during our stay.  I'll also be researching hotels/motels, so if anyone has had a good experience with any, I'd gladly take suggestions.
