Oh yes, let's do talk about osteo.  I, too, have osteo at what I consider a
very young age.  Have been to doctors and received second and third opinions
Have had the DEXA scan and now am visiting doctors to see what treatment I
will adhere to.  My biggest question is:  what caused it???thyroid I have
been taking for 20+ years, lack of hormone replacement therapy or
malabsorption due to celiac disease?  And how about Jane Brody's comment in
the New York Times "Studies in women have demonstrated that exercising the
body's long muscles - in the arms, legs and torso - against gravity can
actually build n new bone, even late in life."  If this is true, it is the
only ray of hope I h have had since I was recently diagnosed.  Would like to
hear about other osteo experiences.
