I was very impressed by the attentiveness of the chef at Casablanca on Brattle Street in Harvard Square in Cambridge. First of all the menu asks you to let them know if you have allergies. I gave the waiter my celiac statement and he asked the chef about my choices. At first she said the grilled pork chop was fine and I ordered it--then she sent him back to tell me that she just realized they would grillit on the same grill that they use for their pizza, and asked if it was oK to pan-sear it.
The waiter also asked if we minded if he brought bread for my husband.
The food was excellent and the whole experience was positive.
