If you are concerned about Lactose in dairy products, you should read the following facts:

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/stevecarper/question.htm

Also see the chart of lactose percentages:

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/stevecarper/percent.htm

You'll be pleasantly surprised to learn that there are many dairy products with little or no lactose in them. Once you have read this website, you'll understand why Kraft and Cabot cheeses in particular ARE LACTOSE FREE. And it says 0g lactose on each of their packages. It's an old myth that cheese, butter and margarine contain lactose.
