Thanks to all of you who responded.

I'm 100% sure it's gluten free as I called them about a month ago about
Dexilant. I take it as well.
Here is the contact info for TAP (Takeda)

I got a sample from my doctor too. It was renamed. According to their
website http://www.dexilant.com/FAQ.aspx Occasionally, when medicines have
similar sounding names,
confusion can occur when a prescription is dispensed. In order to minimize
possible confusion, Takeda, in coordination with the US Food and Drug
Administration, changed the name KAPIDEX (dexlansoprazole) to DEXILANT. DEXILANT
is the same medication as KAPIDEX. Only the name has changed. Takeda is
dedicated to patient safety.

I looked Kapidex up on http://www.glutenfreedrugs.com/list.htm And it is
on the GF list.

My symptoms started out as sharp pains in the front of my neck. Then it
felt more like a scrap or burning in my neck. But the Dexilant seems to be
working. It was a tier 3 drug for me so I had to pay 50% of cost so it was
almost $60 for my part of the co-pay. We have BCBS Federal employee plan.
++++++++
Two other said they take it with no problem.
