A local gastroenterologist has a young patient with confirmed celiac disease who is interested in military service and wants to know if CD will prevent him from enlisting and whether there are any services or branches that will accept him and accommodate his diet.

Please respond if you have first-hand knowledge or experience with CD and the military.
