Hi Everyone

I am hoping to get some help in making a important decision concerning
if I should go through with having a endoscopy done or not. I have been
doing a gluten challenge for four weeks now, have three weeks left to go
before the endoscopy is to be done and have been sick the entire time. I
received news yesterday that my 83 year old grandmother has just been
diagnosed with Celiac Disease after over 40 years of sickness and three
endoscopies. Now that I have a relative diagnosed I feel that going
through with the procedure might be unnecessary. Should I have the blood
screening done first? My reactions to eating gluten are so strong that I
feel that blood screening should be enough to make a diagnosis. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
