I certainly got replies on this question! The short and apparently unequivocal answer to my question is: "No!" I received 37 replies which can be summarized as follows: Lactaid is for use against lactose (milk sugar) intolerance; whereas, it has no effect against casein ( a milk protein). One person felt that it worked for her and cited the source of her lactaid tablets as: http://www.dairycare.com/ I contacted them and they advised that DairyCare was ineffective against casein for the above reasons! Thanks all who replied,

Leif
