In a recent posting, Marvin White noted that Albertson's supermarkets has
posted a listing of the gluten content of it's store branded merchandise on
its web page at:

http://www.albertsons.com/corporate/pr_yourhealth.asp

As an Albertson's stockholder, I am delighted and have sent a note of thanks
to ABS's shareholder relations office.

Shareholder relations operations are usually very responsive to
correspondence from company owners and try to make sure that correspondence
reaches appropriate decision makers. (at least in summary)

Perhaps others who own stock in food and drug manufacturers or sellers might
want to take the approach of contacting their shareholder relations offices
to suggest their companies take a similar, progressive approach to food
labelling and content disclosure.
