Hi,

I have waited a little while before posting this since I wrote it in the Winter. I was trying to get it published, but no one seems to want to really speak up about the food policy at Delta Airlines. So I'm sharing it with all of you and hoping you'll share it as you see fit. What happened with Delta was absurd, and extremely dangerous. The company's unwillingness to even acknowledge a glitch in their policy, much less a mistake, is inexcusable.

Having said that, YESTERDAY, after I posted this blog and some people started tweeting it, we did get a call from the CEO's office. We'll talk with them on Monday, and I'll let you know what we heard.

Until then, read on and see what you think. Then help me spread the word, please! Let's try to get Delta to review and change their policy!

Is Delta's Food Policy Reckless Endangerment?

Born and bred in Atlanta, GA, I have always been a classic loyalist for Coca Cola and Delta Airlines. I have always chosen water if Pepsi products are the only option, and I’ve always flown Delta if the price is even close.

But as a mother of a gluten sensitive family, I am deeply, dangerously, disappointed in a series of recent encounters with Delta’s Food Service and Customer Service departments. As a constituent, I am angry. As a native Atlantan, I am embarrassed. As a Gluten-Free mother, I am activated! Here’s our story:
