No one has suggested any UK sources for guar or xanthan gum so far, and
telephone call searches have also failed.
 
Some people have suggested Canadian and US sources, and I intend to use
them for now.
 
The gums are made in the UK and used in manufacturing, but are not
retailed as far as I can determin.  (I can get them in 25kg lots).
