Hi all,

I would like to thank everyone who sent me information for my trip. For
those of you who are curious I received 8 replies for Staten Island and 4
replies for Rhode Island. I will send a separate summary for RI.

On Staten Island there are 3 Family Health Food Stores that carry GF foods.
The stores are located in Castleton Corners (Victory Blvd and Manor Road),
New Dorp (New Dorp Lane) and Tottenville (Page and Amboy.) According to
sources, the store in Tottenville is the largest and best stocked.

I received an email from Ener-G foods that the SI stores do not carry their
breadcrumbs so I sent some ahead.

I also got some replies for stores in NYC. One mention was a store in the
Village is Healthy Pleasures on University Place and another was Whole Foods
on 24th ST and 7th Ave.....big organic supermarket with lots of goodies..

There were no suggestions for eating out, so if I get brave I will post to
the list and let you know how that went.
