Hello! I have Celiac and have avoided all gluten for the past 10 years. I was recently given some Aveda and Burts Bees products which contain wheat protein in them. Although I do not ingest any gluten, is there any way that using these skincare products can bother me or make me sick? As far as I know, I do not have any allergies to anything on my skin. I have also used Aveda haircare products in the past and it did not seem to bother me. Can anyone please advise on this from your experiences and let me know if there is anyone with Celiac who can use skincare like Aveda with wheat proteins in it as long as they don't do the obvious like get it in their mouth, etc? And, can anyone please recommend other natural skincare/haircare products that are gluten free if using Aveda is bad for people with Celiac and that are organic and still work well? Thanks very much!
