Thank you for the responses that I received regarding my concerns about
how long it takes to gain weight after being on a gf diet.

The responses I received were varied.

One person stated that there was no set time, and that some people gained
weight and others lost it. He himself lost 30 lbs after being on a gf
diet during the first year.

Another mentioned that her 2-1/2 year old son started gaining weight
almost immediately after not having gained weight prior to the gf diet.

Someone recommended the book Eat Right For your Blood Type. By Peter
D'Adamo.

Another reminded me that it takes most people several months to a year to
even know if they are eating completely gf.

One suggested that I drink an elemental diet such as Sustacal which is
gf.

Someone said they began gaining weight after 2 months, the weight gain
was slow but she felt healthier after about 2-3 months.

It took someone 3 years to gain any weight.

Another said that he has been on a gf diet for a year now and has still
not gained any weight.

So, that about sums up most of the responses.
thanks once again,
