Interesting info on Quinoa. I've seen Q products in stores clearly
labeled "Gluten Free", yet author Jax Peters Lowell writes.... in her
book  "Against the Grain"  regarding Q:

" crucial to the Inca. Maybe it was Sprue, not the Spanish, that caused
the Incas to disappear. Do not allow it to cause you to disapear. Is it
gluten free? there are many opinions. Get your Doctor's"

That book was published in '95..... wonder if official GF status has
since been established?
