Thank you for all your input!! Iam new to this or any listserv - I am
getting e-mails but don't see the replys here - in any case I appreciate all
the response. I'll definitely give it a bit longer -- nausea is a bit
better yesterday and today after taking docs recommendation of taking
pepcid. I'd been taking an anti-nausea med to no or little avail but the
pepcid seems to make a real difference! Go figure. Yes, very pleased with
BG numbers -- really normal! I have been trying to get good tight control
for some time. I lost weight a few years ago (think that went on because of
moderately high BG), am very active, watch what I eat and then with
gallbladder surgery had to0 switch from the lantus & metformin mix that was
doing well & have been going from one thing to another to get control
back... even did intensive insulin therapy where you maintain normal numbers
3 weeks then quit -- did ok with nothing for about 6 weeks then numbers went
back up. On 4 mg Avandia with the Byetta - hopefully I can ride on this for
a while :-)
