Hi,

You may want to check the instructions with your glucose testing strips
and/or monitor. I went to New Mexico two years ago and my blood sugar tests
were lower than they had been running in Wisconsin. When I returned, I
asked my doctor about that. He didn't seem to know if altitude affected the
readings. The next time I opened a box of testing strips, I happened to
read through the instructions & found that with the monitor I was using, I
should have adjusted the program # for the higher altitudes. I have a new
monitor now & don't think I have that choice any more.
