Hi Lana~ Glad to hear from you. You bring up some good points  insulin
resistance & lactose intolerance.
Can you tell us more about your situation & your thoughts on it.

I understand lactose intolerance can be a side effect of Celiac Sprue,
but it can also subside after the gut heals (no gluten ingestion). What
has been your experience?

Although diabetes symptoms and variables are all over the map- most type
2's- that would be 90%  have some degree of insulin resistance.

Have you found the exercise component of dm managenent to lower the
resistance?
It seems to be an important piece of the puzzle.
