Dear List Parents,

What has your experience been in the timing between accidential gluten
ingestion and the reaction? How long does the reaction last after the
ingestion?

My 18 month old has had painful straining followed immediately by large,
loose, pale stools for the past few days just as he did prior to diagnosis.
I am trying to sort out if it was a one-time gluten mistake or if I'm giving
him something on a on-going basis that has gluten in it.

He has been gf for 5 months and had the bloodwork done to check on the gf
status 60 days ago -- all clear.

Assuming it was a one-time mistake, how long should the symptoms last?

Thanks, will post summary.

Lindsay
