I am at loss with my son who is 9 months old and trying to narrow down
possibilities before his next visit to the pediatrician. He is having all of
the symptoms of Celiac and we have been on a digestive treadmill since birth.
It all started with the breastfeeding and now he is unable to eat any solids
with out complications--all seemingly related to Celiac. Help. My husband and
I are at our wits end trying to locate something he can eat. I caught some
bug the second day at the hospital and it was downhill after that. I had
diarrhea for 8 weeks and my son's stool was like iced-tea--- not normal for
breastfeeding. Everything I ate was causing him problems. the last and final
things he could tolerate during breastfeeding were peas and red meats. Not a
substantial diet for the breastfeeding mom. I stopped producing milk and he
went from a milk base formuia to soy. Can you steer us in the correct
direction? [log in to unmask] Thank You-Tori (Collins) Theofylaktos
