Thank you to all who responded - over 100 responses. My son does have a place to heat food in the microwave at school. There are no hot lunches served at school - so he prefers to take a "cold lunch" (or in a thermos) like his friends. I have lost all the info I received, so I am doing this from memory. There is a listing in the archives from August & September 2004. For Breads try - Mana from Anna, Montina flour (from Amazing Grains website); Kinnikinnick bread or use wraps, pancakes, GF crepes, wafers or rice cakes. lunchmeats & cheeses for wraps or sandwiches (cut into creative shapes to make more appealing). Leftovers in a thermos - casseroles, mac & cheese, hot dogs & beans, homemade soups, rice & hamburger; cold pizza; peanut butter with celery, apples or raisins; yogurt, gogurt, fruits (canned or fresh) veggies with dips; Skippy Squeeze sticks; hard boiled eggs; gf cereal; tuna, turkey, or chicken salad (gf mayo); make your own lunchables using the container (based on Lunchables) - ex. tortilla chips & cheese; gf fruit snacks, Treats - gf candy, cookies, crackers, cake, pretzels, chips; Of course all products used are GF. My son is eating a little bit more variety and is a little more willing to try new things. Thank you to all who responded. If I am able to retrieve my list I will send any ideas I have left out. Donna, Dunmore, PA, USA
