I agree... our principal has worked to put my son in classes where the teacher is more accepting of children who like to talk and such.  So the principal could play an important role in teachers that will work with your child.

My granddaughter's school principal has played a very important role in the
selection of teachers.  Some teachers more easily accommodate than others
and his selections have been great for the last 4 years.  Some teachers use
play dough and food, etc more that others.  He has been essential for her.
