Dear List,
My 10-year-old Celiac daughter, who also has
Dermatitis Herpetiformis, is making the annual trip to
Washington D.C. with the Florida Safety Patrols. She
is a new Celiac and still learning, so I don't trust
her to make informed decisions on what she can and
can't eat. My attempts to find out which restaurants
they will be visiting have failed. I have learned
they will be having a pizza party for one dinner. Is
my only alternative to pack all her food for her?

This is a little daunting for me since she will be
gone for 5 days. Have any of you made this same trip
successfully? Can you give me any tips? Her teacher
is also going and I have given her my copy of the
Commercial Products Listing from the CSA. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
