I don't know how many of you wear AFOs but this may be helpful if you do. 

There is a website for socks designed to fit under AFOs:

You can place orders from there. 

We have used these socks for the past year and have been VERY happy with 
them. We originally ordered 4 pair. Anthony wears them every day, all day and 
they are still in good shape.  They have gone up in price since we ordered 
but I think they're still a bargain! (remember $9 CDN = approx. $6 US or less)
