Mike,

I wasn't familiar with the book, so I did a quick search on Amazon.
From looking at the other recommended titles, I think you're right.

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.

-George Bernard Shaw 1856-1950

I think here is another book with an ax to grind against the Bush
Administration. This time the faith based initiatives comes under
scrutiny. The person writing does raise some interesting questions
about the political unsavviness of our spiritual leaders today, as
opposed to the political savviness of Billy Graham... When Richard
Nixon tried to get him aboard the Republican bandwagon in 1968, Billy
Graham firmly declined. For that reason, as well as a bunch of others,
I have great respect for Rev. Graham. More than I have for any others,
with the possible exception of Rev. Rick Warren.
