Haven't time to check this out. FYI only. No endorsement intended. Good

Bill Machrone's New Product Alert
from PC Magazine Online and the ZDNet Products Channel
3/31/99

Out like a lamb... That's the upshot of the
Melissa and Papa viruses. For once, the general
media didn't panic over these viruses, but re-
ported (with a little help from PC Magazine and
ZDNet) accurate information, including how to
fix the problem. In case you've just come out of
hibernation, though, we've got links to all the
fixes.

MELISSA AND PAPA FEVER: WE'VE GOT THE CURE
Melissa and Papa don't destroy data, but they
sure do clog mail servers. Disinfecting your ma-
chine is as simple as deleting the file with the
Word or Excel attachment. Preventing against fu-
ture attacks is another matter. We've got
standalone programs and updates for antivirus
packages.

IE 5 ADD-ONS ALREADY?
You bet, and they're from Microsoft. I like the
approach of "toys," "power tools," and
"goodies." It lets you customize your applica-
tions with features that may not be suitable for
mainstream users, but perfect for you.
