<<  This kind of cross-cultural
 perspective on disability fascinates me. >>
Hi,
I'm glad to know others find it interesting too - the few other people I've
tried to talk to
about the topic told me "it was all in my head" (meaning attitudes, not laws
necessarily) But I DO notice generalized differences in certain cities where
I've lived (people being patronizingly helpful, too inquisitve ect vs. other
places where I more or less can just go about my business) and the reasons
why puzzle me. I also think about non disability related cultural attitudes
- something I'll always think about........

If anyone ever comes accross any related info (disability and culture) plese
let me
know.

Best Wishes,
Gwen
