i heard that a group of democrats in the U.S. Senate
sent a letter to Robert Iger, President and CEO of
Disney, parent company of ABC requesting a re-editing
of “The Path to 9/11” even though they admitted that
they“ have not yet seen this program. this after house
democrats sent a similar letter on Wednesday. the
letter as signed bySenate Democratic Leader Harry
Reid, Assistant Democratic Leader Dick Durbin, Senator
Debbie Stabenow, Senator Charles Schumer, and Senator
Byron Dorgan.

one paragraph i think carries a veiled threat.

"The Communications Act of 1934 provides your network
with a free broadcast license predicated on the
fundamental understanding of your principle obligation
to act as a trustee of the public airways in serving
the public interest. Nowhere is this public interest
obligation more apparent than in the duty of
broadcasters to serve the civic needs of a democracy
by promoting an open and accurate discussion of
political ideas and events."

read between the line "if you run this, and we get
control of the government, you'll have trouble with
the FTC when your license comes up for renewal.

very chilling, but, i predict that ABC will take out
any part of the show that has the Dems in a wad.
