Greetings All,

I am currently working on a paper for my class on education and technology. I am focusing on assistive technology. I have some questions that I would to have you guys share your experiences. Your coments will attached be to the paper - and as far as I know that paper will eventually become my Master's Thesis - and hopefully move right on onto the PhD program. I am using my own experience with Amber in the paper. The neat part about this is the other teachers in the class are regular ed teachers and we are to share our papers - so I especially wanting what you need to tell educators - so that some educators actually hear this!! I guess this aimed at anyone going to school or has school stories to share.

1. Tell me a little about your special needs.
2. What kind of assistive technology does you use?
3. Is your child mainstreamed into a regular ed classroom, if yes - full day part day, etc
4. How helpful have you found the school system to be with finding help with assistive technology?
5. How helpful and knowledgeable have you found your teachers/educational institution to be about assistive technology
6. What is the single item that would make your educational experience more rewarding?

                            Thank - you
                               Trisha
