My name is Saul.

 

I have never been in contact with group of people going through similar
challenges although my wife attends a special needs mums group locally.

 

I have a gorgeous 2 year old boy called Izzy who has C.P. I found this group
just surfing the web "I find it therapeutic"! 

 

I heard a comparison of people with cerebral palsy and astronauts. Imagine
an astronaut goes up to space and he needs a special suit breathing
equipment, and special earphones to contact base. If his earphones broke and
he lost contact with earth, we all know it is the same  man on our monitors,
he is just not able to contact us or respond!

So to with my little boy he can't speak, walk or even sit. But when you look
in those beautiful big brown puppy dog eyes you see a person full of
personality and spirit. He just cannot contact us right now!
