i do not know that i'd call it knee jerk, but many
vote without much knowlage of what the issues are.
they get their intelligence by soundbites. then it is
over. i think that was what he was talking about. he
has a point. however there is some sour grapes
involved. he gots his votes the same way and is
getting publicity now in the same way. 

unfortunately most people know more about american
idol than what important things are going on in the
world.
