Today's "punishment."

A piece of string goes into a bar, and is told by the bartender "in no
uncertain terms," that the bar would NOT serve liquor to a piece of string.

Piece of string goes out, ties itself into a not and unravels it's ends a
little. Then it goes back into the bar and asks for a drink again.

The bartender says "Hey, aren't you the same piece of string I told to get
out of here a little while ago?"

Pice of string replies, "No, I'm a frayed knot."

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress
depends on the unreasonable man.

-George Bernard Shaw 1856-1950
