Well, I just got the call from the GI doctor's nurse, the results of the liver biopsy finally came in. All she could tell me was that somewhere in time Zachary had received injury to his liver. Where, when, why, and how cannot be answered at this time. Now he has to get an ultrasound of his liver, the nurse mentioned something about a floater ???, next Friday. I guess they are concerned that the blood is not flowing through his liver properly. Again I only have questions with out answers. Any suggestions? And how can I convince these doctors to look for possible mito or a metabolic condition of some sort before further damage is done to this boy. As time progresses I am feeling my boy is slipping away from me and I will not get to see him growing up. Yesterday I dreamed of his funeral, is that awful or what ? Why can't they just give me some answers ? Is he going to make it to kindergarten so I can fight with the teachers or not?
Sorry for venting and getting off the subject, but as most of you know this year has been very difficult for us so far as Zachary's health is concerned.
Thank you for reading and God bless you all.
