Sarah got her new power chair last week. We had a loaner all summer, but
ordered something different. We had a Permobile all summer- but it was large
& next to impossible to tie down in our van & a problem on the school bus.
She also tried the one that stands you up-but she is 4 ft 8" & it is meant
for over 5 feet. the extra cost to adjust for her (about $8,000. ) was not
covered by ins & the total cost of the chair was about 45,000.

We bought the new Invocare chair- storm 3. It adjusts to go over curbs, & on
the grass. It has Tilt, Electric foot rests, & elevator seat. it is
mid-wheel drive-so it turns in a real small radius. So far she loves
it--only thing she wishes she had was a horn-so we will be buying a battery
door bell to add on this week. Joy
