Israel has been strong arming the Palestinians and yet the violence
continues.  We need to be strong when need but, also learn the other lessons
of history.  By not helping to build up nations after WWI we allowed
dictators such as Hitler and Stalin to rise in the vacuum left by the
destruction.  We didn't learn our lesson in Afghanistan before hopefully we
will this time.  After guns, plowshares and education.

I don't think dropping bombs will solve a darn thing. Really, I don't. It
won't help in Afghanistan, and it certainly won't in Pakistan, nor Israel,
nor anywhere. Defense in the USA-yes.  intelligence-yes, but bombs never
solve anything. They just ravish a country. I'm angry too, but we need to
find better ways to make the world safe from madmen. We need to develop cars
that don't need oil! Let Saddam drown in his oil, let Saudi Arabia drown in
their oil.
