Unfortunately, my mom is the opposite. She will tell anyone anything about
her family, especially her two sons. She does it to impress people, I guess.
Funny, she always drilled into us not to get the "big head". One quick
anecdote, I was talking to older bro one night and told him to hide all
personal information when Mom comes to visit. Dan(my older bro) intimated I
was exaggerating and over-reacting. When I quoted him the amount of his
oldest son's alimony check, he changed his tune. He and I and the wives had a
nice visit a while back. There were on their way back to Birmingham from an
RV rally on the Columbia River gorge in Oregon.
