Another option would be to contact a disability advocacy group - I  
mean an all-volunteer group comprised of disabled people who've had  
experience in dealing with situations such as yours.    I don't think  
you're the only disabled person in NYC to face eviction, and at  
least, you might find creative ways to fight the eviction.
