       I read a story in the Austin paper about the filming of a Disney
production about the Alamo and San Jacinto. Billy Bob Thornton will be Davy
Crockett and Dennis Quaid will be Sam Houston. Anyway, there was another
casting call for persons of Hispanic descent to play Santa Anna's army. It
seems that most of those who did show up were too portly to pass for soldiers
who had marched 1,000 miles!
