I have not been in this situation, since I am not with CP. But I do have
possible fibromyalgia, and boy the pain can get intense especially in the
hips and lower back. I have ended up taking Vioxx during the day and a very
strong medication at night, can't remember the name of it, but it keeps me
groggy most of the time.
My suggestion to you is get a second and third opinion, and do what your
heart is telling you. They have been wanting to inject my neck with
anesthesia since my car accident last May, but I still say no and live with
the pain, It is just to scary things doctors want to do these days.
