Anthony,
I am not trained either and I am not offering a diagnosis but there
is a big difference between working relationships and personal ones.
Most problems occur with the personal. You are still not saying what
precipitated the explosion. I am gathering what happens is that you
explode and everyone is shocked and then it's over for you but others
are reeling. it's important how you feel about it after. I think you
may be able to learn to control these episodes. It is simply lack of
impulse control and many people suffer from this.
There is a diagnosis called intermittent explosive disorder. And
there is tons of information on the internet about it. My son
exploded last night after dinner. I am suggesting he see someone
about it but I doubt he'll listen.
