Gwen, you are correct in my estimation. "Laid back" can also be termed
progressive. I guess the most progressive area, from what I hear, would be
the Bay Area of California. I have just moved to Austin and it is very
progressive. Memphis, where I lived for 30+ years tried hard, but they are
way behind. I don't know about  other areas. I would imagine North Carolina
would also be classified as progressive, or would it, Kat?
