i am just saying, political appointees serve at the
pleasure of the president. clinton fire that many with
not a peep out of the press. bush should have fired
all of the clinton people right at the start instead
of holding them. as far as these 8. they serve only as
long as the president wants them. bush or any other
president can fire political appointees at will. that
is the way it is. if bush were not such a wimp, he
would just tell the press that and they can spin on
their eyebrows as much as thay want. end of it. his
wimpyness in derferring to the "new tone" from the
beginning hurt the conservatives. he should have come
in and served the people who elected him.
this was just one example.
you ask if bush had hurt the conservatives and i
answered "yes" and told you why, gave you and example
and i am guestioned about how much i trust the
president. i am just telling you what i would do. if i
were president for a week 90 per cent of the
population would hate me. the other 10 per cent would
just not like me. all 100 per cent would be saying "my
god, he is doing everything he said he'd do." "he is
not running for re-election." you guys think you hate
bush. you'd pray to have bush back.
jimmy carter is the worse president this country had
in the 20th century, do not get me started on jimmy.
he should have stayed home with his peanut farming and
sent his brother billy to washington.
